The contract between Ocean Breeze Cruise &
Travel Corp. (“we, us and our”) and
you will be one that we act as an agent between you and the
suppliers.
Ocean Breeze Cruise & Travel Corp.
acts solely as a booking agent for the supplier of choice and
all terms and conditions relating to the supplier are as set
out in the chosen suppliers booking conditions. We accept no
responsibility the supplier conditions other than as a consequence
of our own negligence.
Contract/Financial Protection
When we issue a confirmation invoice/receipt a contract will
then exist between us and you. The financial bonding requirements
of the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority
of British Columbia (BPCPA) have been observed by us in relation
to the provision of all our reservations. Our BPCPA license
number is 36168. This is to ensure that you would be refunded
any outstanding monies in the unlikely event of our insolvency.
Payment Due Date
Depending on each suppliers terms a deposit may be due at time
of booking or shortly after the booking date with a future final
payment date as long as the reservation is not made within the
original final payment date in which case the reservation would
be made in full. All confirmations and receipts will have the
option date and final payment date recorded for your convenience.
Airline bookings must be paid in full at time of making reservation.
Price Changes
Prices may change between the booking date and travel date.
Changes in transportations costs may be in the following areas:
fuel, taxes or fees, dues, that may be chargeable for services
such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees
at ports and airports as well as any foreign exchange rate fluctuation.
We will refund any insurance premiums paid by you to us in
the event that you have cancelled your travel plans for any
reason as long as there are no cancellation penalties in place
by the supplier.
Should the price of your travel go down between the booking
date and travel date you have notified us of such we will change
your rate accordingly with no penalty fees.
Travel Plan Changes
If you wish to change any of your travel plans please contact
your travel agent and we will do the best we can to accommodate
your request. We will not charge any fee for this service but
you will be responsible for any fee the supplier may have in
place. Please note that there may be additional charges by the
supplier if discounts were in place at time of booking or if
rates have changed between original booking date and date of
change.
Name Changes after Booking Date
Please ensure that each traveler’s first and last name
are as exactly as shown on your government issued identification.
Due to heightened security if any names are misspelled you will
be denied boarding. Unless there was an error at the time of
booking by us, you will be responsible for any fees in regards
to name changes.
Cancellations by You
Cancellation fees are outlined by each supplier, you may find
this information in each of their respective brochures but if
you are not sure please ask your travel agent. The cancellation
schedule is in a tiered rate. The sooner you cancel the more
money you will receive. If you purchase RBC Travel Insurance
and have to cancel due to a medical emergency notify us right
away and we will help you start your claim.
Changes by the Supplier
If for any reason the supplier has changed your travel arrangements
we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you and help
you if you need to make alternative arrangements.
Identification/Travel Visas
We recommend that you have a valid passport when traveling out
of Canada. Each Country varies in its entry requirements and
it is your responsibility to ensure you have the proper documentation
(including visas) to enter the Country you are visiting. If
you are in doubt please contact the embassy or consulate you
intend to visit.
